Trapped in a DEA setup, Reardon attempts to give himself up causing a shootout with deadly consequences. He is forced on the run while Francine and Stella are questioned and held by American officials. Meanwhile, Ted's DEA accomplice, Williams, skillfully manipulates the crime scene to make Reardon look like a cold-blooded cop killer. Ted races back to Canada realizing that the sting has gone terribly wrong. In Vancouver, Mary fights to keep things under control when the American mole, Royden, is found dead in his hotel room. She calls in Vancouver Homicide to keep tabs on the investigation. At the Chickadee, Ronnie struggles to keep Dante and the Disciples at bay while orchestrating Reardon's safe return into Canada with the help of Michael and Tremblay. With the arrival of CSIS Inspector General Boudreau Mary finds both an ally and a romantic diversion. She decides to bury the Royden case on his advisement. But her problems are not over as FBI agent Weathers travels to Vancouver to hunt Reardon down over the murder charges. Mary races to uncover the truth about Reardon, her most valuable asset, before it's too late.
