Bernie Coulson has been a prolific actor since he was three and his mother put him in a play to channel his hyperactivity. An agent spotted him as a pirate swinging across the stage in Peter Pan, and there began a long list of credits, some shared with Ian Tracey, including Huckleberry Finn & His Friends, Da Vinci's Inquest, Milgaard and the feature film Rupert's Land.

Coulson's feature film credits include The Accused, Bullies, Loverboy, Eddie & The Cruisers II, Highway Man, Cabin By the Lake, Turbulence 3 and John L'Écuyer's St. Jude. Coulson received a Genie nomination for his role in Bruce McDonald's Hard Core Logo. His many television credits include Big Sound, Cold Squad, Millennium, Sliders, Lonesome Dove, The X-Files, My Friend Frankie, Life Goes On, Murder She Wrote, Nelson Rider, MacGyver and The Beachcombers.
