Alana Husband

Alana Husband was born in Bridgetown, Barbados. She first discovered her love of acting when enrolled in a drama class in junior high school. She completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at the University of Calgary. After graduating from university, she studied acting for film and television at Company of Rogues and before booking her first film/TV audition in a recurring role on the teen drama Caitlin's Way (2000 - 2001).
Alana went on to land roles on numerous American series such as Dark Angel, Jeremiah (playing opposite Malcolm-Jamal Warner), The Dead Zone, The Twilight Zone, and a recurring role in The L Word. Feature films include a lead in MTV's Monster Island, FBI: The Negotiator, Hollow Man 2, and most recently Hot Rod (2006), a comedy with Andy Samberg.
